Walking into Chanel's show-refitted Grand Palais this morning felt like entering the no-expense-spared lair of some old-school, James Bond, megalomaniacal villain. Black suited Chanel henchmen were everywhere. And there in the centre of the glorious hall stood a slowly revolving 50ft high globe, with every one of Chanel's 310 store international empire marked by a double CC flag. Planet Earth itself had been bent to Chanel's all-powerful aesthetic will: it was out with blue,  and in with slimming black for the oceans. They had even redesigned Australia - and the effect was terribly chic.

◆ The Great Gatsby Sexy 20's Retro Dresses ◆

Like the 1920's fab? There's 20's retro chics all over with flapper dresses, feathers, pearls, red lips, nude colours and fascinators... Modern rap and hip hop opened up the party often showing the masses conglomerating into the house. Once inside the party zone, the music transitioned into the jazz to provide the ideal beat to support the various dances the extras performed. Of course the movie isn't just about partying, but also has a lot of emotion tied into the film as well. While jazz and other current hits,  the orchestra track provided the extra kick needed to bring out the emotion embedded into the various scenes. Sure I may be too obsessed with the musical score, but the truth is an epic soundtrack can add an extra edge to make a scene more memorable. Of course what is a movie without stunning visuals? Usually not a very good movie,  but luckily Gatsby has got some pep in its step. The parties in particular were what impressed me the most....

This is a really beautiful gorgeous v neck dress from Whistles. This particular one is covered with a pretty fauna type pattern. The dress colors are cream and blue in colour  with a zip in side seam. It even have a little ribbon on the front that looks nice.. This dress is a 100% silk dress so that means for cleaning you should only do dry clean. Measurements are approx 36 inches in length and 36 inches at the chest. If you want  to look casual and stay cool in the summer sun you can't go wrong with this one.
